On the 29th of August World Packaging Organization (WPO) organized another international webinar CO-PACKING TRENDS AND PERSPECTIVES discussing Contract packing and manufacturing trends and perspectives.
The discussion was moderated by the WPO President Luciana Pellegrino and WPO Vice President of Sustainability & Save Food Nerida Kelton. In the introduction of the webinar Pellegrino talked about the main directions of WPO’s activities and current events, including the submission of works to the international competition WorldStar for Packaging.
The discussion was continued by Tom Knipscheer, Executive Director of the European Co-Packers Association of, who shared his experience and knowledge by presenting the association’s core activities, industry challenges, legislative changes, packaging littering problems, sustainability solutions, etc. packaging and packing trends.
At the end of the seminar Nerida Kelton led the Q&A section by giving answers to the questions of the audience. More than 350 industry professionals from different countries of the world listened to the webinar.
